After working in outpatient orthopedic clinics and a home health setting for 14 years Shelly had the opportunity join Julie Price, MPT as a business partner of Advance Physical Therapy. Working at Advance Physical therapy has allowed her to continue to develop her Manual Therapy skills utilizing the newest techniques to help people achieve their goals. Shelly’s other interests include rehab for the Athletic person and developing weight training programs for our clients. In her free time she enjoys golfing, traveling, mountain biking, skiing and weight training.
“I feel blessed to be a part of a genuinely caring team of skilled therapist that work well together to meet our clients’ physical and emotional needs. My favorite part of rehab is getting to know the person and helping them develop a plan that will change their life and get them back to doing the activities they enjoy. I love that our clinic is located inside of the Litehouse YMCA which allows us to utilize all of the exercise equipment and pool. It makes me so happy to see a client who would never have felt confident exercising on their own become comfortable with performing a therapy program with us then go on to join the gym and continue exercising on their own.” – Shelly

“My top 3 reasons for coming to work at Advance Physical Therapy: First, I get to work with some of the most caring and skilled clinicians I have ever worked with. I know that if my patients see another therapist, they are going to get the best care available. Second, I enjoy meeting new patients and having a positive impact on their lives. Many of my patients become long term friends! Third, working inside a YMCA gives a unique opportunity, not found in other physical therapy facilities. It allows you to teach your patients to exercise for their individual condition safely and properly. From the pool to free-wights our facility has equipment to meet the needs of very deconditioned patients to elite athletes.” – Jeremy
